Disney Jr. Appisodes: Stuffy And Squibbles
Published by Disney Electronic, developed by Workinman Interactive LLC. “Appisodes” blend scenes from popular children’s television with interactive mini-games. This one is from the Doc McStuffins universe. I built two mini-games, “Fetch” and “Charging Station,” in Xcode using Objective-C. I took large batches of Disney images and sound and made them manageable to work with, creating fluid movement and believable interactions in the gameplay. I communicated regularly with other Workinman and Disney Jr. team members to ensure that the game concepts stayed simple and fun.

Disney Jr. Appisodes: Runaway Shuttle
Published by Disney Electronic, developed by Workinman Interactive, LLC. “Appisodes” blend scenes from popular children’s television with interactive mini-games. This one is from the Miles From Tomorrowland universe. I built two mini-games, “Race Mode” and “Neck Stretch,” in Xcode using Objective-C. I diagnosed and fixed code problems in additional mini-games “Space Junk” and “Beak Tweak.” I brainstormed creative ways to free up memory by homogenizing image batches and using color shading. I worked side by side with Disney Jr. in the process of changing several game concepts on the fly during production.

Nick Jr. Firefighters
Published by Nickelodeon, developed by Workinman Interactive LLC. Nick Jr. Firefighters presents a unique story and mini-game suite where regularly separate heroes cooperate to save small animals from a fire. Built in Haxe. I created a tutorial system used across all mini-games to visually guide the user through basic controls via an on-screen keyboard. I developed a simple memory-saving particle system and took charge of polish tasks to make all mini-games run smoothly.

FarmVille: Harvest Swap
Published by Zynga. FarmVille: Harvest Swap is a bright and cheerful match-3 style game in the FarmVille universe. Built in Unity and MonoDevelop using C#. I developed new methods for First Time User Experiences (FTUE) and worked on interactivity with User Interfaces (UI). I wrote bug reports and performed peer code reviews with other team members. I participated in daily Scrum meetings to discuss individual and group progress with the game. During the development cycle, I gained valuable experience of long-term game development and shipping a successful product.
